Welcome!
Lent 2010
What is Lent?
Lent is a time of spiritual renewal and commitment. I believe that the 40 days of Lent (which does not include Sundays) should be a positive time of growth, both spiritually and physically. Starting on Ash Wednesday, we are reminded of our mortality and the promise of Christ's resurrection. Traditionally, one attempts to give something up during the forty days, modeling Jesus fasting in the wilderness after His baptism.
During Lent 2010, we will be worshiping on Wednesday nights at different churches around our area, plus we will be having a Prayer Labyrinth on March 22 and 23. Contact the church office to sign-up.
